Administrative official
In the context of the Administrative Responsibilities Handbook, an administrative official is any UCSD employee or academic appointee who has been delegated financial, administrative, or managerial responsibility and holds one of the following positions:
  • Assistant vice chancellor
  • Associate vice chancellor
  • Dean
  • Department business officer
  • Department chair
  • Director
  • Manager
  • Principal investor
  • Provost
  • Unit or department head
  • Vice chancellor
