Obtain access to index copy (INDEXCPY) in IFIS, if you don't already have it. |
- Ask your Departmental Security Administrator (DSA) to submit a request via email to Ron Campnell and Everett Stauffer for INDEXCPY access. Specify user ID and all index prefixes you need access to.

Log onto the mainframe. |
- Enter your valid User ID and password.
- Select IFIS from the main menu.
- Press Enter.

Navigate to the INDEXCPY screen. |
- Tab down to the NEXT SCREEN field and type GA INDEXCPY or:
- Select GA submenu (PF12).
- Select COA2MENU (PF11).
- Select INDEXCPY (PF21).

Retrieve the index. |
- Retrieve the index by entering it in the MASTER ACCT INDEX field.
- Press Enter.
- Enter C in the ACTION (AC) field.

Change the title of the index. |
- Type the new index title in the MASTER ACCT INDEX field.
- Press Enter.
If you accidentally try to make changes in the ADDITIONAL ACCT INDX field, you will need to clear the screen by pressing PF2 and start over.
