Summary: ACT requires secured system access for core business systems (IFIS, ISIS, PPS) on the mainframe via TN3270.

In the table below, locate the software you use, then link to directions to secure your access. If you don't know your software version, ask your desktop support technician.

TCP3270 from McGill University (distributed by ACMS) Download Stunnel, a free secure encryption method.

Hummingbird HostExplorer version 7.x or below Download Stunnel, a free secure encryption method.
PC directions
A TN3270 product that supports SSL, for example, Hummingbird HostExplorer version 8 Activate SSL and connect to port 1023 on hubble.ucsd.edu.
