How to Request a Copier From Imprints

Summary: Imprints, UCSD's Print Resource Center, provides copiers to departments and units both on and off campus. Follow the steps below to request a new or replacement copier for your unit or department. |

Gather information for Imprints. |
- When you request a new copier, Imprints will ask you to provide the following information:
- The name, phone number, and e-mail address of the department contact (key operator)
- Any space restrictions for the copier
- Desired copier features
- Anticipated monthly volume
- Preferred billing method
- Budgetary restrictions
- The name, phone number, and Mail Code of your department's financial contact
- If you request a replacement for an existing copier, Imprints will ask you for the machine number of your current copier.

Complete a Copier/ Printer Equipment Request form.

- Get a Copier/ Printer Equipment Request Form in one of these two ways:
- Print the form (PDF).
- Call Imprints at (858) 534-2534 to request a form to be sent via fax or campus mail.

Submit the Copier/ Printer Equipment Request Form. |
- Submit the Copier/ Printer Equipment Request Form to Imprints in one of these ways:
- Mail the completed form to Imprints at Geisel Library, Mail Code 0175-I.
- Fax the completed form to (858) 534-8811.
- With necessary authorizations, the entire process generally takes two to three weeks, but can range from one week to several months depending on the availability of the equipment selected.
