- Ledger Reviewer and ENPET (the report title) appears in the blue Blink bar at the top of the page.
- Report Drop-down Box displays the message "Where Do You Want To Go?" Click the down-arrow to display a list of reports to view, or other link modules that can be accessed. When you select a report or module and click the "Go" button, you leave the Ledger Reviewer and either view the selected report (which displays the same data you viewed in Ledger Reviewer) or gain access to the selected module.
- The ledger period(s) and dates of the ledger periods
- Index, Fund, Organization and Program you selected, along with the description are contained in the next four lines. If any of these items were changed via the Chart of Accounts Overrides, the new values will be displayed.

- Query Parameters indicate whether you are viewing 100% of your transactions, or a sampling of them.

Buttons and Check Boxes
Directly above the column headings are buttons and check boxes that allow you to further process your transactions or to modify the display of the report.
Buttons
- Launch ENPET begins the ENPET process. Before you click this button, you must indicate which transactions should be transferred. See Ledger Reviewer and ENPET Help: Report Features and Options for detailed instructions.
- Return to Query is used instead of your browser's Back button if the report selection did not display the correct IFOAPAL or months. When you use this button, all your selection criteria will be displayed and you can make corrections as needed. If you use the browser's Back button, your selection criteria may be lost and you will have to rebuild your selection.
- Save Changes after changing any problem codes, check boxes or department reference numbers. If you don't click this button and you leave the report or sort your columns, your changes will be lost. The button color changes from grey to red whenever there are changes that have not been saved. You can also lose your changes if your session times out, so be sure to save changes every 5 or 10 minutes.
Note: The Launch ENPET, Return to Query and Save Changes buttons are located at both the top and bottom of the Ledger Reviewer report whenever the 'Display Max Rows' button is checked.
- Change font size makes the font larger or smaller. If you make the font larger, you may need to use your horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of your page to view all the columns of the report.
Check boxes
- ENPET ALL allows you to transfer all the eligible expenses in the report with just 1 click.
- Full Description allows you to toggle between the abbreviated description and the full description. If you choose to view the abbreviated description, only the first 15 chararacters display. You can view the full description for an individual transaction by holding your mouse over the short description.
- Display Max Rows For quick response time, the system default displays the first 14 rows of your report. If you click on this check box, your page will refresh, and up to 100 rows will display. If you have more than 100 rows in the report, you will be able to page to them using the Next Page and Previous Page links at the bottom of the page.

- ACFV (Account Code/Fund Validation): This column displays an E (Error) or W (Warning) indicator if your transaction contains an account code that is invalid for this funding source. These errors and warnings originate in the IFIS Fund Account Validation process. Error transactions are normally rejected by IFIS, but may be present in older reports. If a Warning indicator appears, investigate the warning and use the Notes button to record your explanation.
- Check Mark: A check mark in the column immediate after the ACFV column indicates that the transaction has been transferred to another Index via the ENPET process.
- ENPET column: Use this column to select expenses to be transferred to another index. See ENPET Help: Ledger Reviewer Report and ENPET Selection for more detailed information.

For example, your department may wish to indicate that backup documentation has been filed for this transaction, or that this transaction has been verified with the PI. This feature is completely optional. Use the Save Changes button to save any changes to the Chk boxes.
Note: Be sure your department agrees on the use of the Chk boxes. Some departments use them to indicate that the transaction "has been checked," while others use them to indicate that the transaction "needs to be checked." You'll want to be clear on your department's meaning.
- Dept Ref. No. (Department Reference Number): Use this to enter department codes that can more specifically identify transactions on an index. Enter a name or number, up to 10 characters, into this field and be sure to click the Save Changes button to save them. Later when you review transactions, you can filter or sort by Department Reference Numbers.
- Sampled column: This column will contain a yellow "S" if the transaction was selected for transaction sampling. A yellow "T" in this column means that the transaction was selected based on a Targeted Profile.
