When to call the Haz Mat Team
Contact the Haz Mat Team when a spill involves:
- Immediate hazard (fire, explosion, chemical exposure, etc.)
- Highly dangerous chemicals
- Moderate or large-scale release
Laboratory workers can handle small, incidental spills on their own.
