Most UCSD departments provide their own technical support for computers. When you have a problem, you should first try to contact your department's own technical support. In some situations, it may be more efficient to contact central campus resources that provide technical assistance.
Accessing e-mail or the Internet: ACT provides support for e-mail and Internet service from both on and off campus. Call the ACT Help Desk at (858) 534-1853 for assistance. Also, online information can help you with connection problems.
