Summary: Learn about the basic elements of the Chart of Accounts in IFIS (Integrated Financial Information System).

The elements of the Chart of Accounts are the basis for the recording, organization, and reporting of financial information in IFIS. These codes appear on the reports, forms, and screens in IFIS, FinancialLink, ISIS (Integrated Student Information System), and (PPS) Payroll/ Personnel System.

The Chart of Accounts codes used to code and report transactions are: These codes are collectively referred to as IFOAPAL.
