Academic Computing & Media Services is grouped into several divisions to support the computing needs of the UCSD community. Following is a brief overview and contact information for each Academic Computing & Media Services (ACMS) division:

- Administers instructional and student personal accounts
- Manages printing accounts for students who wish to print in labs
- Assists faculty, staff, and teaching assistants with various mathematics, statistics, and graphics software; e-mail, word processing, and programming tools; and other locally supported packages
