Parking Reciprocity for Visiting UC Faculty and Staff

Summary: Learn about a systemwide parking reciprocity agreement for UC faculty and staff.

The systemwide parking reciprocity policy helps UC faculty and staff conduct business at other campuses by providing limited complimentary or discounted parking permits.

Note: Reciprocal parking privileges do not apply to UC students. Students visiting another campus must pay for parking.

Eligibility: Visiting UC faculty and staff conducting business at UCSD or the medical centers are eligible for up to five consecutive days of complimentary parking. If your business here will exceed five days, purchase a short-term or annual parking permit.

To obtain the complimentary parking permits, visiting UC faculty and staff should present their valid UC ID and current home campus parking permit at either of these locations:

Staff at these locations can provide maps, shuttle and bus schedules, and directions to the nearest parking locations.

Reciprocal parking privileges vary by campus. If you plan to conduct business at another campus, contact its parking office for details:

Tell us how we're doing. If you have ideas for improving Transportation & Parking Services, please e-mail them to TellTPS@ucsd.edu.

If you have questions, see Transportation and Parking Contacts.
