To assist community members with foreign travel requirements, the UCSD Police Department issues letters of good conduct.
To request a good conduct letter, follow one of methods below. You will also need to provide a valid, government-issued photo ID when you submit the form and/or when you pick up the letter.

In person: Print the Request for Letter of Good Conduct form (PDF). Complete the form and submit to the Police Department, Campus Services Complex – Building B. You can also obtain a copy of the request form at the police station.
- By telephone: Call the Records Division, (858) 534-4361.
- By mail: Print the Request for Letter of Good Conduct form (PDF). Complete the form and mail it to:
