|
Summary: Learn about Element K, which offers free Web-based training to staff and faculty. |
|
Element K is a vendor-hosted, Web-based training service. It is free to current UCSD faculty, staff, and students, available around the clock, and compatible with PCs and Macs.
To access Element K, staff and faculty can click the links in the list below. Each link represents a different library of courses. When prompted, enter your UCSD Single Sign-on username and password. You can also see detailed instructions on how to use Element K.
- Information Technology: IT-related courses from Adobe, Macromedia, Microsoft, Cisco, Corel, and others on office software, design and graphics, Web development, programming, networked systems, operating systems, and more
- Business Fundamentals: Business-related courses
- Harvard Manage Mentor Plus: Management courses developed by Harvard Business School
The first time you click the link, you will be automatically assigned a subscription to all of the courses in that library. The library links are separated in this way to manage UCSD's site license. When you click another link, that library will also be added to your subscriptions.
When you reach the Element K welcome page and click the catalog drop-down menu, you will see topics for each of the libraries to which you have subscribed.
