Who we are

The UC San Diego Marketing Council is a network of marketing and communications professionals from organizations, divisions, and departments throughout the university. Membership is open to all staff involved in communications and/or marketing activities on behalf of the university.

Our mission

The Marketing Council mission is to network and share information that enables members to engage in marketing and communications best practices to promote individual units and the university as a whole. This is accomplished by:

Sharing marketing-related information, activities, and challenges
Learning from colleague/ professional development presentations
Assisting with the coordination and implementation of campuswide activities when needed
Promoting and adhering to campuswide identity standards

Planning campus events: See guidelines on university-hosted events and find out how to plan a meeting or conference on campus.

UCSD graphic guidelines: The UC San Diego graphic guidelines are currently being revised and will be available online soon. For general campus logos and branding/ identity questions, please contact Michele Humphrey in University Publications. For Health Sciences logos and branding/ identity questions, please contact Connie Marc in Health Sciences Marketing & Communications.
