Transportation Services for People With Disabilities (ADA Transport)  
 
Summary: Learn about free campus transportation for students, faculty, and staff with disabilities.

If you are a student, staff, or faculty member with a disability, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Transport can help you get around campus.

How it works:

  • You can schedule a wheelchair-accessible van or cart to pick you up and drop you off between 7:10 a.m. and 6:10 p.m. weekdays.
    • Vans stop at ADA-compliant locations around campus. See a list of van stops.
    • Electric carts provide point-to-point transfer service where reasonable accommodation permits. Door-to-door service is provided only where pickup and drop-off points meet ADA access requirements.
  • The service is year-round, but limited during academic breaks.
  • ADA transport service is provided for the La Jolla campus only.
  • Drivers will assist you out of the vehicle at the drop-off point. If you need assistance getting to a specific room or floor, you must make your own arrangements.
