Programs offered:
- Bicycles: The Pedal Club offers incentives to commuters who cycle to campus or medical center. Also see Resources for Bicyclists.
- Carpools: 2 or more commuters can register their carpool and receive additional benefits.
- Guaranteed Ride Home program: Members of vanpools, carpools, Pedal Club, and Transit/ Coaster Club can get a lift to their home or car when unforeseen circumstances leave them stranded at work.
- Ride-matching service: A ZIP code matching system connects commuters who travel from the same community to campus or medical center.
- Transit/ Coaster Club: Reduced-fare passes and other benefits are offered to commuters who take public transportation to campus.
- UCSD bus zone and public transit: UCSD subsidizes unlimited free bus rides on routes serving the campus and medical centers when you display a current MTS/ NCTD sticker on your valid UCSD ID card.
- Vanpools: UCSD faculty, staff, and students are eligible to join campus or medical center vanpools at a subsidized rate.
- Zipcar car sharing: Members can rent vehicles by the hour for personal use, and Commute Solutions members get added discounts.
