The Office of Continuity and Emergency Services supports the campus community by implementing programs and projects in emergency planning, training, response, mitigation and recovery. The mission is to prepare the campus to manage and recover from any type of emergency or disaster.

Mitigation Learn ways to reduce loss of life and property by lessening the impact of disasters. Review Reducing Workplace Earthquake Hazards.	Preparedness Find out ways how you and your department can take steps to prepare for a disaster. Review guidelines and FAQs (PDF) for critical services support personnel.
Response Campus emergency exercises address the short- and long-term effects of an incident. Develop a Department Emergency Action Plan.	Recovery Create a department plan to restore affected areas and mitigate the effect of future incidents using UC Ready.
