The conference is open to all UCSD staff at every classification level. Attendance is limited and reservation deadline was Feb. 20.
Supervisors are asked to let their staff members attend this event as long as absences do not create an undue hardship on work activities or patient care.
This is an opportunity to learn about:
- Taking charge of your career
- Marketing yourself during changing times
- Connecting with valuable resources
- Benefiting from a mentor
The conference is hosted by the Chancellor's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women with support from the following UCSD departments and organizations:
There will be a welcome by Chancellor Fox and a special keynote address from Mary Hart, former UCSD business officer with over 30 years of service, followed by sessions featuring successful UCSD women staff members. See program agenda.
In addition, there will be opportunities to learn about existing Work/Life programs and a resource fair showcasing career and professional development services.
Note: If you need to request reasonable accommodations for the day of the event, contact Tricia Bertram Gallant, (858) 822-2163, no later than March 4th, 2009.
