UCSD reaches out to the San Diego community (including students, parents, schools, community organizations, business owners, and the general public) by presenting information about its services, programs, and the Principles of Community.
Events include:
-
Community Outreach Information Fairs: These fairs provide a forum to present information about admissions, educational and employment opportunities, business contracting, and UCSD resources and events. UCSD representatives staff information tables and present workshops on admissions, student perspectives, and how to get hired at UCSD.
Fairs are held at various San Diego locations. Past locations have included Southwestern College, Grossmont College, Solana Beach Junior High School, and the Educational Cultural Complex. The UCSD Campus Outreach Committee and the Vice Chancellor — Business Affairs office sponsor these fairs.
-
The next Community Outreach Information Fair is March 4 at Southwestern College. See more info (PDF).
