Summary: Learn about the authorizations and training you need if your department designates you as a department buyer, Express Card holder, or Express Card Department Administrator.

Express Card Department Administrator (EDCA)

    Training
    • Express Card Administrator Training

    • You must take this course to be a delegated Express Card Department Administrator (EDCA) who is responsible for managing the use of the Express Card program in your department.

Express Order buyer

    Training
    • You require no specific training to be an Express Order buyer.
    Authorizations/ Forms
    • You must be given an active index for payment.
    • You must have a an active Buyer code or one of an authorized person in your department.
    • You need no specific forms completed to be an Express Order buyer.
    Note: The department business officer designates the index and Buyer code that you will use.

    • Purchasing Policies and Procedures for WebIFIS
      If you will be entering Department Orders and High Value Purchase Requisitions using WebIFIS, you must either complete this course or receive training from an authorized department trainer.
