To help ensure that incoming mail is addressed properly, always use a properly formatted address with the ZIP + four-digit Mail Code on departmental letterhead, envelopes, and correspondence. Incoming mail without the proper address could be delayed or returned.
Use this format for UCSD addresses:
- University of California, San Diego
- Name and department
- 9500 Gilman Dr. or alternate street address (see below), plus # Mail Code
- La Jolla, CA 92093 - Mail Code

Alternate street addresses: Some situations may call for a different campus street address than 9500 Gilman Drive. The following are approved campus street addresses. They must still be used with the proper department and Mail Code.
- 3855 Health Sciences Dr.
- 2910 La Jolla Village Dr.
- 3100 Gilman Dr.
- 10280 N. Torrey Pines Rd.
- 10300 N. Torrey Pines Rd.
- 8622 Discovery Way
- 9415 Campus Point Dr.
Note: Avoid using a campus address to receive personal mail. Mail Services retains the right to return personal mail that is continually received for faculty or staff.
