The UCSD Women's Center fosters the educational, professional, and personal development of diverse groups of women. It is an open, public, and feminist environment, which strives to be a safe space and community resource for women and men of diverse backgrounds.
Located in Student Center West, Bldg. 290 (map), the Women's Center provides a variety of programs and services including:
- Information and referral services
- Support and discussion groups
- Workshops, events, and speakers
- Library of books, magazines, and newsletters, films and documentaries on gender, diversity, and family issues
- Wireless Internet access
- Meeting spaces for organizations and events
- Private lactation space
- Community donation drives
