Office of Sexual Harassment Prevention and Policy (OSHPP) OSHPP provides:
Ombuds Office The Ombuds Office assists by:
  • Providing confidential, neutral, and informal dispute resolution for the UCSD community
  • Facilitating communication and assisting parties in reaching mutually acceptable agreements
  • Reporting general trends on issues and providing feedback
  • Advocating systems change when appropriate without disclosing confidential communications
  • Operating independently of ordinary line and staff structures

Psychological and Counseling Services Promotes students' personal, social, and emotional growth through:
  • Short-term counseling for individuals and groups
  • Psychoeducational workshops
  • Referral services
  • Crisis intervention
  • Preventive outreach and consultation services to the UCSD community

Student Policies and Judicial Affairs (SJPA) SJPA assists by:
  • Administering student judicial affairs, including:
    • Student conduct
    • Monitoring compliance requirements
    • Applicable federal and state laws
    • University policies and campus regulations, such as right to privacy as it affects students
  • Giving legal advice and consultation to faculty and administration on student-related matters
  • Publishing the Student Conduct Code, which identifies students' rights and responsibilities
  • Overseeing Student Legal Services, Student Office for Human Relations, Student Affirmative Action and Educational Equity Program, and the Office of Religious Affairs.
