Summary: This will help you get the latest Web browser.
What to do How to do it
1 Find out which browser version you're using.
  1. Netscape users (Macintosh & Windows)

    • Select "Help" from the menu bar.
    • Select "About Netscape" or "About Communicator."
    • The browser displays a new page and displays the browser's name and version number.

  2. Internet Explorer users (Windows 95, 98, 2000 & NT)

    • Select "Help" from the menu bar.
    • Select "About Internet Exlorer."
    • The browser launches a new window and displays the brower's name and version number.

  3. Internet Explorer users (Macintosh)

    • Open your browser.
    • Select "About Internet Explorer" from the Apple menu (located on the upper left-hand side).
    • The browser launches a new window and displays the brower's name and version number.

2 Get the newest browser version.
  1. Netscape users (Macintosh & Windows)
  2. Internet Explorer users (Windows 95, 98, 2000, & NT)
  3. Internet Explorer users (Macintosh)
    • As of January 1, 2006 no updates are available.
3 Get Adobe Acrobat Reader (if you need it).
  1. To view PDF files in your browser, you need to have Acrobat Reader installed.
